The Continuum Shaders Mod brings one of the most stunning and beautiful modifications to the game. It’s bother wonderfully simple and amazingly complex and detail. With this mod, Minecraft has never looked so realistic. It adds sunlight and shadowing which really bring to life the world of Minecraft. It’s amazing to see ginormous structures reflected against the sunlight or to step inside a building and see the rays of light shining through the window. It really is quite magnificent and, strangely, it’s something that you don’t realise you’re missing until you’ve found it; it can really change the way you see Minecraft. The sunlight is actually surprisingly realistic in both looks and technicality, the sun shines beautiful and is very responsive to buildings and structures. If you love to film inside your Minecraft world and show it to your friends then this would really impress them. The best thing about this mod is how it complements what’s already in Minecraft, it brings it to life more than anything. It’s useful to have a good computer with a good graphics card when running this mod to get the most out of it. There may be some lag but depending on the quality most computers should be able to handle it. However you should try it, it shouldn’t put too much strain on your computer and it’s definitely worth it to see Minecraft in a different light, if you’d pardon the pun.
